Manipulatives to teach math in early childhood education

We present materials to facilitate learning of mathematics in early childhood education. The use of such materials promotes exploration, helps narrow notions that require abstraction, offering highlight different aspects of the same concept and helps build models to draw upon when the material is no longer available.
