María del Pilar Sinués’ Almanaque del ángel del hogar (Madrid, 1865) constitutes an outstanding proof for the consideration of publishing enterprises lead by women in the Nineteenth Century. Moreover, from the viewpoint of History of Books, it entails an absolute renovation related to the evolution of the genre of almanacks in Spain. Our research aims to provide new information on the production of female-oriented almanacks, the diversity of their contents and their reception range.
