This article gives an account of a research on gender inequalities in terms of work conditions, employment and occupational health, based on the exploitation of the National Survey of Working Conditions, conducted in 2015 by the National Institute for Safety and Hygiene in the Work, whose microdata we have analyzed through logistic regression models adjusted by family situation and educational levels and stratified by occupational situation and sector of activity. The results obtained show that women are more likely to have worse employment conditions, greater exposure to psychosocial risks and to suffer greater psychosomatic symptoms. In contrast, men are more exposed to physical and chemical risks and are more likely to suffer injuries, work accidents and hearing problems. Identified gender inequalities, public policies are proposed to protect and improve the safety and health of working women.
