Gender violence through Instagram: Descriptive study of women residing in Spain between 18 and 35 years old

Spanish society are totally immersed in a digital era where the new information and communication technologies and social networks are of great importance in people's daily lives. This has led to a digitization of all existing social, ethical and cultural patterns in offline reality. Gender violence has not escaped this digitization process, using Social Networks as the main tool to be able to execute it in cyberspace. That is why the objectives of this study are to examine what cyber violence, carried out by their partners or ex-partners, women suffer more on Instagram; identify their reaction to this situation; and recognize what negative feelings and emotions they experience.
