This article is an approach to the narrative work of Eduardo Ruiz Sosa (Mexico, 1983) through his novel Anatomy of memory from the political point of view. Through a fictionalization of his native land, the author tries to move away from the past in order to try to understand how the current subject constructs his present in an atmosphere besieged by violence and death. To do this, an approach to his particular literary style, deeply lyrical, will be carried out, with which he will formulate a critique of the mechanisms of state repression in the past and in the present.
