Caminos de vida: experiencias de mujeres del medio rural de Araba/Álava sobre la (in)actividad física

En este estudio se exploran las experiencias de Actividad Física en el Tiempo de Ocio (AFTO) durante la infancia y adolescencia de las mujeres que residen en entornos rurales de la provincia de Araba/Álava a fin de comprender el modo en que sus vivencias en dichas etapas influyen en su estilo de vida en la edad adulta. Mediante una investigación narrativa se construyó una historia semificticia que nos permitió una comprensión más profunda del impacto que la AFTO en la infancia y adolescencia tuvo en la vida adulta de estas mujeres. En este marco, se subraya cómo ciertos eventos -por ejemplo, la maternidad-, distintos factores asociados al medio rural o las interacciones en contextos educativos y deportivos han moldeado la construcción de su identidad.
