The University of Valladolid, eight hundred years old, has been located throughout history in a limited number of locations, occupying since the 15th century a space where its buildings once stood, although the originals have not been preserved due to various renovations and demolitions. Furthermore, there are also buildings in other locations related to the University, such as the Colleges, and currently other facilities located in historic buildings converted for university purposes. Furthermore, in recent decades, the university has built multiple buildings in different areas of the city to house its faculties, just as a university campus has been built in Valladolid, complementing existing campuses in other cities in the university district. It is interesting to analyze, above all, the evolution of the historic building and to recall the vicissitudes and changes it has undergone over time.
