Abstract

Reseña del libro Aburrimiento y capitalismo. En la escena revolucionaria: París, 1830-1848, de Daniel Lesmes (Valencia, Pre-Textos, 2108)

El ensayo se incluye en el campo de la historia cultural. A través de un corpus de obras literarias, crónicas periodísticas, pinturas e ilustraciones de mediados del siglo XX francés se piensa la noción de aburrimiento y su relación directa con el desarrollo del capitalismo industrial paralelo a la franja temporal elegida para el estudio.
