The proposed volume, centered on the period of entresiglos, identifies the changes experienced in relation to the representation of the individual and the nation itself, as well as the processes that make up the idea of "national identity", one of the creeds of romanticism. Thus, in this cross-sectional study, the construction and interpretation of the territory is highlighted from different technocratic spheres until it is converted into a landscape. The vision and description of a landscape is nothing more than the mere reflection of our own vision before it, and for that, nature, arts or even architecture play more than an important role as channels of disclosure.
