Puebla: Beyond the grid, right here in the poverty

Abstract

Puebla supports a social- space model based on an expansive growth. This text study it in depth, analyzing: the city social- space conditions, irregularities in the land property, insufficiencies of structure and equipment, differences between the colonies, and the real- estate promotion that sustains it. Also it explains which are the internal forces and urban actions that lead this model, as much by the legal way, like by the illegal one.
The functions of Puebla in the territorial range are analyzed, establishing how Mexico is structured, by its differences between North and South. So, the text parts of a historical brief study that tries to explain how Puebla has become “the door” of the Mexican territory towards the impoverished South of the nation.
