Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The article is original, not having been sent simultaneously to other publications or having been previously published in full or in part in other media.
- The paper is written in Spanish, English, French, Italian or Portuguese, and it includes title, abstract (less tan 100 words) and keywords (5 maximum) in Spanish, English and in the language of the paper, if none of these ones.
- The citations follow the "Author-Date" system, and the final bibliography follows the indicated format.
- In general, the article follows all the guidelines indicated in the Author Guidelines as well as the good practices that are required for all scientific publications, including the use of artificial intelligence.
- The article exactly follows the template in terms of layout, styles and format, and it does not exceed 40,000 characters including spaces (or 10,000, if it is a review/note), and including all the contents of the text file (initial page with title, abstract, etc.; footnotes; figures/tables, which will be inserted in their corresponding place; bibliography, etc.).

Authors continue to own their work and may republish their articles by other means without having to seek permission, as long as they state that the work was originally published in Ciudades.
