Qualitative approach to the integration processes of foreigners in Valladolid and the incidence of the territory

This research investigates the reality of the integration processes of the foreign population in a Spanish city. For this, the theoretical position is confronted with the practice and the incidence of the territory in the process is attended to. Through interviews with technicians who work for integration and foreign residents, the real demands are determined. The interviewees consider that they differ from the theoretical policies and strategies, placing employment as a primary concern, and that the area of residence influences the possibilities of integration.
