The use of subtraction algorithm’s in primary education

In this final work degree, the study will focus on researching subtraction algorithm. The whole analysis that is exposed, has been obtained from several books, which are exposed in the bibliography and an experimental instrument characterized by presenting 16 subtraction with different difficulties. 201 students have taken part in this study, who are currently studying the second and third courses of primary education, belonging to five different schools. The results show that the method of borrowing cause more hits, fewer errors and most teachers prefer it. In addition, other important aspects will be recorded in reference to the subtraction algorithm.
