Waiver of forgiveness as revenge. Some philosophical reflections

We present thinkers who reflected on the relationship between forgiveness and revenge. Rousseau tries to answer from a social pact to Hobbesian state of nature. Spinoza invited to be guided by reason. Kant clarifies what is impunity. Hegel introduces the concept of love as power of reconciliation; Kierkegaard also evokes in the name of faith. Nietzsche finally considered how the will to power is able to overcome the thirst for revenge.
