The first Neapolitan monarch of the House of Aragon, Alfonso the Magnanimous, had an affair with the Neapolitan lady Lucrezia d’Alagno during his last years. Her entry into the public -and politic- life of Naples habitually placed her in the celebrations of the city and the court. With literary and historical testimonies, we propose an analysis of her role during the king’s last years.
