This paper aims to study the current state of one of the rarest and most problematic pre-Roman mints from the Iberian Peninsula. Traditionally described as a Vasconian mint situated in Navarra, we discuss its possible ethno and subsequent location. A new coin find from Cigales (Valladolid) allows us to propose an interpretative turn regarding the old hypotheses, currently considering the situation of the mint in a place further south, perhaps on the southern head of the upper Ebro Valley.
