Study on the figure of the writer and traveler Egeria, her possible relationship with the Roman emperor Theodosius, her pilgrimage and her travel journal written in Latin. In addition, we carried out a legal-historical investigation on this time and our singular protagonist, capable of undertaking a pilgrimage to the holy places at the end of the 4th century, on a unique and exemplary feminine itinerary.
