In this paper we studied the development of slavery during the High Empire in the cities of the eastern part of the territory of the ancient vascones as a way to increase the knowledge of the society that developed in the area. This way, slaves and freedmen are integrated into a strongly hierarchical environment that, possibly, allowed little social promotion, although through their testimonies it is possible to characterize different models of societies that contributed to creating different relationships between individuals.
