A sources for the knowledge of the Treasury of the Hispanic Monarchy: the documentation of the Inventario 24 of the Archivo General de Simancas

The object of the research is the documentation of Inventario 24 of the section of the Dirección General del Tesoro, Archivo General de Simancas. First of all, it is proposed to carry out a study of the scope of documentary production within a section originating from subsequent bodies. This will be followed by a survey of the documentary groupings of the Dirección General del Tesoro, essentially produced by the Contaduría General de Valores dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Finally, an analysis will be made of the informative potential of the aforementioned documentary grouping, a first-rate source of knowledge of the Hacienda Real.
