Estudio onomástico y social de los Flavii de las provincias germanas en época romana
Abstract
The gens Flavia reached a hig representation in the roman german provinces and it takes part in the group of main families. The nomen Flavius spread in Upper Germany and Lower Germany through the soldiers, the flavian politics and the provincial governors, who carried this namen. The personal names of the Flavii show a high level of romanization, with a latin name structure. praenomen, nomen and cognomen.
The social study of this family group deals with the professional and demographic features, the status, the relationships with other families, as well as the religious beliefs.
