The following article focuses on the semantic analysis of several lexemes derived from the root δικα- in the New Testament corpus. The study of each of these will allow us to extract the semic nucleus of the stem and to understand how it acquired new semantic nuances in the New Testament. Furthermore, this article also shows how the semantic nucleus of these lexemes is altered and combined to adapt to different grammatical categories. For this purpose, the noun δικαιοσύνη, the adjective δίκαιος, the adverb δικαίως and the verb δικαιόω will be analyzed. To these various lexemes the method of semantic analysis used for composing of the Greek-Spanish Dictionary of the New Testament (DGENT) will be applied.
