EDITORIAL TEAM SELECTION

The Editorial Team of the Ogigia Journal. Revista electrónica de estudios hispánicos is made up of its Management Team, its Secretary, its Editorial Committee and its Scientific Advisory Committee.

The Steering Team is responsible for periodically appointing and renewing the members of the Secretariat, the Editorial Committee and the Scientific Advisory Committee of the journal. 

The members of the Editorial Committee are responsible for carrying out the first selection process of articles received in the journal, in accordance with the double selection and evaluation process described in the "Evaluation and editorial process" section of the journal's "Submissions" page. The members of the Editorial Committee are chosen based on their curriculum and their specific field of knowledge, in order to cover all the thematic areas of the journal. 

The Editorial Committee will be renewed regularly, as far as possible, taking into account the availability of its members to collaborate effectively in the work of first selection of the articles received by the journal. The members of the Management Team will actively seek the incorporation of reference specialists who show their willingness to collaborate in this selection process.

The members of the Scientific Advisory Committee are chosen for their recognized national and international prestige in the thematic areas of the journal, for the relevance of their research and publications, and for the category of the academic position they hold. Their main functions are to advise the Steering Team and the Editorial Committee on the scientific policy of the journal, and to act as expert reviewers in cases where an article receives two contradictory reports from the journal's external reviewers, in order to make a final decision on its publication. 

Efforts will be made to ensure that the journal's committees have a gender balance, and that a high percentage of its members belong to institutions outside the University of Valladolid, both national and foreign.

The members of the committees may cease to hold office by express resignation or manifest breach of their duties.

The list of members of the journal's Management Team and the Editorial and Scientific Advisory Committees is publicly updated on the journal's website on an annual basis.
