The aim of the present paper is to analyze three autobiographemes that appear in the memoirs of the childhood Tiempo de inocencia (2013) by the Majorcan writer Carme Riera. The analysis of these primitive textual representations —memories of the writer’s personal past, converted into narrative units— will allow us to appreciate the devices that Carme Riera, as author and narrator, uses to build the identity of her character. The first autobiographeme is the (re)presentation of the birth and the construction of the lineage. The second autobiographeme is about the book and the reading learning. The last autobiographeme refers to the body and eroticism.
