Abstract

This article analyzes the introduction of Italian books in Spain as part of the strategy of cultural propaganda abroad established by fascism. As seen in the text, although it wasn’t one of the priorities in the dissemination of a benevolent image of the regime in the country, there was a visible interest in using this instrument, even in a remote way, as an element of proselytism among the local population.
