The objective of the text is to determine which EU projects the Member State Portugal has carried out in order to improve the deficiencies of its prison system in the educational field since the beginning of the 21st century, pointing out their subject matter, the purpose that they pursue, the type of person to whom it is directed and the different actions carried out.
