The humanization of justice in relation to people with disabilities: the fundamental right to equal access to justice

Within the general line of the humanization of justice as a paradigmatic change in the evolution of our society, the treatment of disability represents one of the fields where the most intense work must be done to achieve the intended objective. Equal access to justice for this group must be achieved with public and legislative policies that favor the understanding, adaptation and integration of persons with disabilities when they come into contact with justice, thus protecting the core of this as a fundamental right. Promoting the value of the human factor as the epicenter of all actions contributes to favoring a more efficient, more equitable and consequently more humane and fair Administration of Justice.
