The unification process of civil guardianship of Copyright in the single digital market

This communication attempts to provide a first assessment of the protection supplied by European Union law against the illicit use of works protected by copyright on the Internet. The research aims to provide results for the protection of copyright in the Digital Single Market through the instrument constituted by the law of damages, as a general protection mechanism of all subjective rights and legally protected interests.
