This subgenre has as its basis the culturalist reference to literary tradition, which works as an
example for current society, linking the past with the present and combining this process of actualization
with a task of reflection and reinterpretation in which there plays an ethic dimension of history, a
transformed reality, a confirmation of identity and the establishment of difference – all with the purpose
of reconsidering certain key events in the history of literature.
