Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of the digitalization of medical records in the cities of Lima and Callao, Peru, 2023, from the point of view of health and healthcare personnel. The results show that the electronic medical record is perceived by health and healthcare personnel as a valuable and relatively easy-to-use tool, generating a positive attitude towards its adoption. At the contextual level, doubts persist regarding the need for external support during implementation, compatibility with other existing systems and the fear of making mistakes when initially using this technology.
