This is a revisionist study (in a critical and comparative way), under an interdisciplinary approach (mixing Politics, Law, Religion, Sociology and Communication), which removes confusion veils and it helps to (re)evaluate the development of American own resource to move to the Modernity and to get its idiosyncratic construction. This resource is the American civil religion, which is a genuine system of integration, previous to the nineteenth century resource of nation. There is an analysis of its main manifestations (symbols, rituals, believes and institutions); also it is offered a diagnosis of its situation and a forecast of its viability after the globalization.
