Abstract

The expansion of trade and consequently of international transport has undoubted negative effects on the environment, especially pollution. The two main actors are maritime and air transport. Although important international agreements such as the Kyoto Protocol have been adopted, the lack of harmonized and sanctioning regulations that are applied internationally is a major impediment to combating climate change and transport pollution. In addition, lets look at the vision of climate change in Muslim countries, will their reflections be the solution?
