The “Ave Maria Schools” also arrive in Palencia, capital and province, which, given their Catholic orientation and concern for social issues, are well received and promoted by the Catholic Agrarian Union, deeply rooted in these Castilian lands. As of its implementation in the capital (1-10-1923), the town of Paredes de Nava will be the next to have its activity (10-9-1924), subsequently producing a good number of requests for its installation in more municipalities of the province, most of them required and sponsored by the same union institution.
