Abstract

ABSTRACT: In this article on the presence and influence of Manrique in the Memorias (1972) of the sculptor from Palencia Victorio Macho, we will not limit ourselves solely to talk abouth how Macho quotes from Manrique in his memories nor abouth their motives and functions; we will also study the literary and biographical context of the palentian sculptor; that is, the importance of reading and literature in his life and his art.
