Abstract

This article describes briefly the training of a teacher of Palencia in the central years of the last XX century: from his youthful studies of Teaching in an old official center, a nineteenth-century transcript, to his promotion to the Inspection at the beginning of the call Spanish Democratic Transition, passing through the exercise in a rural school of one of the most genuinely palentine regions, Tierra de Campos, and the university studies of Pedagogy. A tour through the real school, the desired school and the official school.
