Abstract

This article analyzes La flor de lis’s narrative configuration, by Marosa di Giorgio. The conformation of their diegesis is arranged in a sequence of memories inserted among themselves that results in a configuration of mise en abyme. In this specular space, the events take place in a surreal dimension, in which the space of nature conducive to love and eroticism (such as the locus amoenus) is subverted.
