Ibero-American literature occupies a prominent place every day on Instagram. New profiles, publications, 'likes', comments and temporary 'stories' in the profile with quotes or poems add up in a constant boiling of literature that requires the academic attention of the universal conversation with millions of users of this social network that will be 10 years old in 2020. Using a novel methodology of self-made tables for data collection, the research focuses on the four authors with the most hashtags: #PauloCoelho, #PabloNeruda, # GabrielGarcíaMárquez and #MarioBenedetti. His analysis confirms the daily presence of the four names with the Brazilian Coelho as the leader, with almost a million publications with his hashtag. One more step in the study focuses only on the two poets, Neruda and Benedetti, to analyze the content behind the figures and it is observed that important literary profiles, personal accounts with influencers or publications for commercial purposes keep daily in the hotbed of Instagram the great names of Ibero-American literature.
