A Mortal Spring or the Limits of Literary Translation
Abstract
This article attempts to define the limits of literary translation by comparing Francisco Umbral’s Mortal y rosa. The aim is to assess to what extent the translator managed or failed to render the unique rhythmical, metaphorical and acoustic quality of Umbral’s masterpiece.Downloads
