The goal of this article is to analyze the situation of urban teaching on the State Schools of Architecture, pointing and highlighting its -eventual- paradigmatic affiliation.
The available methods -time, staff, funding, etc- have not allowed as to perform a survey in depth on urban teaching, updating the works that already exist on this topic: the one that L.U.B. carried out during the seventies and the following of Rodríguez-Bachiller on the eighties. There is also a different approach. Here it has been tried to consider exclusively the measure in which education today is being influenced by the different urban paradigms that exist today, or that have existed in the past.
