A revision of Hybridity in Gender conceptualization and a proposal of agro-legal gender classification.

Abstract

Within the last decades, the static textual classifications have been diffused and mixed in order to give rise to other, hybrid, ones in which we can see the characteristics of more than one textual genre. This circumstance has been studied and analyzed from several perspectives that we will review and from which we will select those related to translation, in order to understand and define what is a hybrid genre in translation. In the last decade, some authors have investigated medical-legal texts as hybrid genres inside two areas of expertise such as Medicine and Law. In this current paper, we would like to analyse the concept of the hybrid text considering the related bibliography and to propose a definition for a new genre: agro-legal, in which we can find the specialised languages of Agronomy and Law. With regards to this, we will study the existing classifications in each area of expertise in order to create a new classification of agro-legal genres.
