Resumen

Este artículo analiza la modulación vocal como una herramienta para la construcción y afirmación de la identidad de género en personas trans y no binarias. A través de una metodología mixta, se exploran las relaciones entre la voz, el género y la etapa de transición, así como las experiencias sociales y las estrategias de adaptación vinculadas a la voz. Los resultados evidencian cómo las variaciones vocales reflejan las presiones sociales y las expectativas de género, lo que puede resultar en emociones como la frustración y la ansiedad. Asimismo, se destaca la modulación vocal como una práctica de autoafirmación y resistencia frente a los estereotipos de género. Este trabajo busca así ofrecer una perspectiva interdisciplinaria que posicione la voz como un marcador identitario y un medio de resistencia frente a las normas de género restrictivas.
