Abstract

This work arises from the study of lexicon available from Huelva, pre-university level, carried out by Prado and Galloso (2005), within the framework of the Pan-Hispanic Project of Lexical Availability, in whose corpus were located a considerable number of word that does not belong to normative Spanish that has a special significance in Huelva, interpreted in the manner of Alvar in his Diccionario de madrileñismos, 2011. The methodology of lexical availability allows to collect voices from those places where the study is carried out. In this sense, we consider the importance that these words of Huelva, which have employment in Huelva, or that refer to the realities of Huelva, have for the teaching of Spanish in this geographical area. Our attention deserves special attention those words that refer to words not included in the Diccionario de la Real Academia Española, considered, therefore, non-normative based on the current Spanish norm, and nevertheless, reflections of essential realities in the geographical environment in the one that has appeared.
