In line with one of the traditional proposal of lexical availability, this work compares two areas located in presumably diferent linguistic domains: Cádiz, studied by Professor González Martínez (Adolfo) and Valladolid. The peculiarity of this comparison lies in the fact that it is done within the framework of theléxico disponible de España (LDE) [available lexicon of Spain]. This has allowed us, in the first place, to verify that LDE works as a sort of lexical koinéthat uniforms and limits the differences; and secondly, to note that even the lexicon considered presumably of most widespread use has clear areas of preferential use.
