This paper examines the role of Paco Ibáñez in the dissemination of Spanish poetry during the Franco regime, and the role he played in the fight for freedom. I will focus on his first four albums, including the inserts and the selection of poems. I also will examine unpublished documents which shed light on how Ibáñez's activity was monitored by the Francoist Liaison Office. Finally, I will look at some of the censorship and concert bans which he was subjected to in detail.
