In Léxico de afinidades (Ida Vitale, 1994), under the rigorous alphabetical order and the apparent merely descriptive nature of a dictionary, the author's personality underlies each of her entries. It is a lexicon made to measure, arbitrary and extremely subjective in content despite corresponding in form to a glossary, because it is a performative act, an invitation from the author to understand her vision of her world.
