Harmony between science and religion according to the Bahá'ís

Human knowledge has varied from time to time and place to place. Religions are more traditional and resistant to change. The sciences have had a different, more rapid evolution. The secularizing process has led to a distancing of science from religions and a greater or lesser rejection towards them. The question arises as to whether opposition is inevitable or whether there can be a mutual respect that might even lead to harmony between the two fields of human knowledge. The analysis of the best-known religions is complemented by a Bahá'í view of those same religious beliefs and their relationship to scientific knowledge.
