Experimentation has become one of the most recommended resources in science education. It represents undoubtedly an ideal methodology to develop activities where students can work using the scientific method and be able to walk to scientific competence. However, the way to experiment cannot be static, but must evolve in primary education to adapt to the physiological changes of this stage. In the last year of primary school, one of these changes is the development of abstraction and symbolic thought. This paper proposes a new idea to enrich the experimental model through a project on teaching of astronomy in primary education.
