Abstract

This work presents a teaching proposal with the one that tries to approach the pupils of Primary Education a matter that is not easy to approach if we observe it from a perspective of complexity and abstraction: the Chemistry. To carry it out, it has been follewed the Chemistry Model step by step or basic Chemistry Model, which purpose is to settle basic and clear ideas about this science, as also the Chemical Change Model, which main objective is that the student will be able to identify this phenomenon in the different situations in which it is possible to produce. The methodology that follows is active and participative, based on cooperative learning, which combines three main actions: doing through the experimental activity, thinking about that activity and communicate what is done and what is intended in this process.
