Francisco Alejo de Aranguren was an architect who worked in La Rioja, Basque Country, Navarre and Burgos in the second half of the 18th century. The books he owned were inventoried, counting ninety books, which 36% treated about his job, 30% were religious books and the others show different interests like literature, fencing, sciences or economy. Besides, he seemed interested on foreign authors and academic books, though other books show a more conservative character.
