Abstract

In this article, we will disclosure the intervention of the Carmelite architect Fray Alonso de San José, which has been unknown until now, as the church architect of St Teresa of Lazcano. Its design and relationship with archetypal models turn it into an important work in Fray Alonso´s career and in the Basque Country convent architecture.
