Abstract

In this article the construction of the City Hall of Salamanca in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries is examined. This process has not yet been fully studied. The goal is to achieve a better knowledge of the circumstances of its erection. This process has been reconstructed mainly on the basis of the documentation in the Archivo Histórico Nacional.
